Townsend, Massachusetts, or can be dismantled and moved to a new location. The core of the house is in

exceptional condition; it needs renovation and modern utility upgrades, but its frame is mostly intact. Its current owners have recognized the value of its stunning architectural details and want to give this magnificent old home every chance of survival...but it’s a big job to bring such fading glory out of retirement!
Fortunately, this is just the sort of project that we would love to tackle--bringing our passion for craftsmanship
to such a genteel and stylish homestead!

Just look at the gracious proportions of the rooms, the large windows and superior woodwork in the old parlors and bedrooms! The home has four original fireplaces, wide pine floors with beautifully matched wood grain, original wainscots and a lovely entrance hall with center staircase.

It takes very little imagination to see the potential for fine living in this antique gem, set into the peaceful New England landscape. We wish we could live here!
Remnants of milk paint on the doors,

trim and wainscots show that a previous owner has already put time and patience into restoring original features of the

homestead.
Elegant proportions and graceful authentic details abound. Above, the front parlor, with its original mantel and parson’s cupboard.
